Andreas Hillarp

Andreas Hillarp, PhD, Associate Professor, obtained his doctoral degree in medical science at Lund University, Sweden. After work as postdoctoral scientist at the MRC Immunochemistry Unit in Oxford and as senior scientist in the research laboratory of Professor Björn Dahlbäck in Malmö, Sweden, he then became laboratory manager of the Coagulation Laboratory in Malmö. Since 2014 he is head of the Department of Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion medicine in Region Halland in Sweden. Member of the Swedish expert group in coagulation appointed by the Equalis (External quality assessment for clinical laboratory investigations in Sweden). Has a record of being vice-chair of the World Federation of Haemophilia Laboratory Science Committee.
